Aswan Governor Amr Lashine Expands Digital Training and Cultural Programs
Governor of Aswan, Engineer Amr Lashine, met with a delegation from the Centre for Digital Creativity at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The centre offers specialized training in 32 technology fields—including artificial intelligence, programming, cyber security and data analysis—and the governor pledged administrative support and a plan to train school computer teachers in partnership with the local education directorate.
The governor also oversaw a series of cultural and infrastructure initiatives: a solar‑powered lighting project installing 295 lamps along a 10‑km stretch of the High Dam road; the continuation of the "Street Art" program in the station square; and activities at the Egypt Public Library aimed at boosting artistic and educational engagement. He conducted a surprise field visit to a primary health unit in the village of Al‑Silsila, listened to residents’ concerns and pledged swift response from relevant authorities.
