Aswan Governor Amr Lashine Inspects Edfu's Nile Specialized Hospital to Boost Service Quality

Governor Amr Lashine of Aswan made an unannounced field visit to the Nile Specialized Hospital in Edfu to verify the continuity and quality of medical and therapeutic services provided under Egypt's comprehensive health insurance system. Accompanied by parliamentary, executive and health officials, he toured the hospital’s departments and outpatient clinics, inspected the operation of the CT‑scan unit, and listened to patients’ and citizens’ feedback.

Lashine stressed the need for rapid response to any shortcomings, the activation of the patient‑satisfaction department, and the importance of informing the public about the benefits of the health‑insurance scheme. He pledged continued coordination with the General Authority for Health, led by Dr. Ahmed El‑Sabki, to ensure efficient diagnostic services and reduce the need for patients to travel outside the governorate for care, in line with President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi’s directive to raise health‑service standards.
