Aswan Governor Emro Lachin monitors high‑school exams and orders demolition of illegal structures

Governor Emro Lachin continued his field visits in Aswan to oversee the 2025/2026 secondary school examinations. He inspected several exam halls, met with parents, and stressed the need for a calm, well‑equipped environment for the roughly 10,200 candidates taking the exams through 16 July.

He also directed the rapid removal of illegal encroachments and unlicensed kiosks surrounding the old security directorate. The order aims to enforce the law, protect public utilities, and preserve the appearance of the Nile waterfront, part of a broader effort to improve urban order and tourism appeal.
