Aswan Governor launches ‘Madrasati Mustaqbali’ educational initiative
Amr Lashin, the Governor of Aswan, has launched the ‘Madrasati Mustaqbali’ (My School is My Future) initiative at the Egypt Public Library. The program is designed to raise awareness among preparatory school students and their parents regarding the various educational pathways available after completing the preparatory stage.
The initiative aims to help students select educational tracks that align with their personal abilities, interests, and the requirements of the labor market. Covered pathways include general secondary education, technical and vocational education, applied technological education, specialized schools, and professional training programs.
To facilitate information dissemination, the initiative includes educational exhibitions featuring instructional videos and printed materials, alongside expanded digital marketing efforts. The launch event featured theatrical performances by the ‘Masar’ program, interactive educational explorations, and a handicraft exhibition showcasing works by students, including those with disabilities. The initiative is supported by various entities, including the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the ‘Masar’ program.
