Egypt hosts Ahlan Madaris exhibitions with school supply discounts

The Ahlan Madaris exhibition is being held across various Egyptian governorates to provide school supplies and essential goods at discounted prices ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year. The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade has announced that exhibitions are open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with some locations scheduled to conclude by September 15.

Discounts at these exhibitions vary significantly depending on the product category. General school supplies, including stationery and notebooks, are offered with reductions ranging from 35% to 80% compared to market prices. Specifically, leather goods such as shoes and bags are seeing discounts between 20% and 50%. In Aswan, the governor inaugurated a main exhibition that is part of a larger network of 10 exhibitions distributed across various cities and centers to ensure wide accessibility for local families.

Product pricing examples include notebooks ranging from 40 to 65 EGP, school bags starting at 150 EGP, and school shoes starting at 125 EGP. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on Egyptian households by providing high-quality local and imported products at competitive rates.
