Asylum horror adventure game slated for Nintendo Switch release in 2026

Senscape and publisher SOEDESCO announced that their supernatural horror adventure title Asylum will be ported to the Nintendo Switch, with a planned launch later in 2026. The game puts players in the role of a former patient exploring the decaying Hanwell Mental Institute, uncovering its dark history over roughly ten hours of first‑person gameplay.

Asylum draws inspiration from H. P. Lovecraft, Hammer horror films and 1980s European horror cinema. It emphasizes atmospheric tension, a haunting soundtrack and challenging observation‑based puzzles rather than frequent jump scares, reflecting fifteen years of development.
