Atacama pisco entrepreneur establishes import business in Germany

Leif Eriksson Vivanco and his wife, Agnes Dransfeld, have established an import and event organization company in Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany, to promote Atacama pisco. The initiative aims to introduce the protected designation of origin distillate to the German market.

After facing professional challenges in Germany, Eriksson transitioned from engineering to the gastronomic sector to build his business. The project has received support from ProChile, an agency of the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs dedicated to promoting Chilean products abroad. The venture includes various Atacama pisco brands such as Paitanas, Mulet, Coquena, and Thomas Grey.
