The third annual Atakum Hazelnut Festival was held in the Atakum district of Samsun, Turkey. Organized with the support of the Samsun Şalpazarı Ağasarlılar Association, the two-day event took place at the Özören Neighborhood Square.

Initiated by Atakum Mayor Serhat Türkel to support local agricultural production, the festival featured a variety of cultural activities. These included Black Sea and Turkish folk music performances, piano and kemençe recitals, folk dances, and traditional poets' duels known as ‘aşıklar atışması’.

Traditional elements were central to the celebration, including an ‘otçu yürüyüşü’ (grass walker march) where participants carried hazelnuts from the fields to the festival area accompanied by drums and zurnas. The event also hosted stalls showcasing local delicacies and handmade products created by local women, alongside entertainment workshops for children.
