Atalanta faces tactical and leadership transition under Sarri

Atalanta is navigating a transitional period following a difficult start to the season marked by three defeats. The club is currently implementing a new tactical identity under manager Maurizio Sarri, a process that requires time and patience to achieve the necessary synchronization and detail.

The squad is also facing a shift in leadership following the departure of veteran players such as Djimsiti and De Roon. As the team moves away from its previous cycle, the focus has turned to identifying new leaders within the current roster—such as Pasalic, Zappacosta, and Sead Kolasinac—who can provide the personality and character needed to support the manager and stabilize the group.
