Atalanta rejects 30 million euro bid for Bologna's Jonathan Rowe

Atalanta has made an official transfer bid of 30 million euros for Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe, but the offer was rejected by Bologna management.

Bologna is reportedly holding a firm stance on the 23-year-old English player, valuing him significantly higher, with estimates ranging between 40 and 50 million euros. The club's refusal is also influenced by a transfer policy established by owner Joey Saputo, which limits the sale of key players to a maximum of two per transfer window. Having already seen the departures of Santiago Castro and Lucumí, Bologna is reluctant to lose another essential member of their squad.

Rowe, who joined Bologna from Olympique Marseille, is under contract until June 2029. While Atalanta seeks offensive reinforcements, other European clubs including Manchester United and Fenerbahçe are also monitoring the player's situation.
