Atanas Burov Foundation announces 2026 leadership awards

The Atanas Burov Foundation held its annual awards ceremony at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia to recognize excellence in banking, finance, and industrial management in Bulgaria.

Christof De Mill, Chairman and CEO of United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) and KBC Group, became the first foreign recipient of the award in the ‘Banking and Financial Management’ category. Kiril Domuschiev, owner of Ludogorets and chairman of KRIB, received a special distinction for leadership.

Other notable recipients included: • ‘Telerik Academy’ for ‘Sustainability and Socially Responsible Leadership’. • Vladimir Nikolov of ‘Fantastico Group’ for ‘Visionary in Corporate Leadership’. • Raycho Raychev of ‘EnduroSat’ for ‘Bulgarian Brand at an International Level’.

The foundation, established in 1992, aims to promote financial literacy and recognize managers who contribute to the country's development.
