Atanas Trică transfers from Universitatea Cluj to AEK Larnaca

Romanian striker Atanas Trică has completed a permanent transfer from Universitatea Cluj to the Cypriot side AEK Larnaca. The 22-year-old forward, who stands 1.91 meters tall, signed a two-year contract with the Cypriot runners-up after successfully completing medical examinations.

Universitatea Cluj reached an agreement for the transfer, reportedly receiving approximately 50,000 euros, while retaining a 20% sell-on clause for any future sale. During his tenure with the Cluj-based club, Trică made 33 appearances and scored three goals.

This move marks the first time the Romanian youth international will play outside of his home country. His previous clubs include Universitatea Craiova, Steaua București, CS Tunari, and CSM Slatina.
