Atarfe to host concert featuring over 1,000 musicians

The ‘Vísperas Cofrades’ concert is scheduled for January 30, 2027, at the Atarfe bullring in Granada. Organized by the Cofradía de la Oración en el Huerto, the event aims to establish the province as a national reference for processional music.

The concert will feature over 1,000 musicians and include seven different musical formations from across Andalusia, such as the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores de las Tres Caídas de Triana and the Banda de Música del Carmen de Salteras. Local officials noted the event's potential to boost tourism and preserve cultural heritage related to Holy Week.
