Atari reports record revenue and first profit in years

Atari SA announced consolidated revenue of €56 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, the highest level in more than a decade. The Paris‑based video‑game publisher posted a positive current operating income of €0.9 million and a net profit of €0.1 million, marking a return to operational profitability after years of losses.

The turnaround is driven by a strategy focused on reviving legacy franchises and expanding through acquisitions. Atari increased its ownership of Swedish publisher Thunderful Group to 97%, acquired indie studio Hipster Whale for $29.3 million, and secured rights to five Ubisoft titles. CEO Wade Rosen said the company is confident the new game lineup and recent deals will sustain growth, noting games revenue rose 67.7% to €46.1 million and hardware revenue jumped 83% to €7.3 million. Cash flow from operations was €11 million.
