Atasta electrical substation infrastructure advances in Campeche

Construction is progressing on complementary infrastructure for the Atasta electrical substation in Campeche. Federal and state agencies, including the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) and Caminos y Puentes Federales, have begun building a new bridge at the Zacatal section to support the project.

The substation project is currently 87 percent complete. It aims to improve energy supply and voltage stability for communities such as Nuevo Progreso and San Antonio Cárdenas, addressing previous issues where voltage would drop over a 50-kilometer stretch from La Concordia in Ciudad del Carmen. The project includes a new transformer in La Concordia and a new circuit designed to transport energy with minimal voltage loss.
