The Ateş Serbest-2026 military exercise is currently underway at the Sakarya Barracks Training Area in Polatlı. The drills involve various domestic and international defense systems, focusing on precision strikes and tactical mobility.

Domestic sniper rifles, including the KNT 76, BORA 12, KN12, and KALE-KSR 50, were utilized to hit targets at varying distances. The exercise also features the PALEM unmanned modular ground vehicle, which was demonstrated transporting a simulated casualty to a safe zone.

The PANTER, integrated into 8x8 tactical wheeled vehicles, can engage targets at a range of 40 kilometers. The exercise is scheduled to conclude on October 22, with a Special Observer Day planned for October 15.
