The project, led by President Carlos Soto’s administration, aimed to enhance urban infrastructure and mobility, addressing previous difficulties for vehicles and pedestrians during the rainy season.

According to Public Works Director Sergio Ascencio Pulido, the project was executed through the ‘Obras por Cooperación’ program. The works included the paving of 1,463 square meters with hydraulic concrete, the construction of 477 linear meters of curbs, and 572 square meters of sidewalks. Additionally, the project involved installing drainage and potable water networks, as well as implementing road markings and vertical signage.
