ATG announces new layoffs affecting approximately 30 positions
ATG (Trav och Galopp) has issued a new notice of redundancy affecting approximately 30 positions. This follows a previous round of layoffs in March that impacted 25 roles.
According to CFO Lotta Nilsson, the company is entering negotiations with union representatives regarding a new organizational structure. The move comes despite a recent interim report showing improved results due to reduced expenditures, even as gambling turnover has declined.
The notice serves as a formal notification to the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) regarding potential redundancies due to lack of work. Under Swedish law, the company must undergo negotiations with unions before individual termination notices are issued. The final number of affected employees may change through internal reassignments, voluntary agreements, or retirements.
