Athanasios Stathakopoulos to hold art exhibition in Katerini

Painter Athanasios Stathakopoulos will present an individual art exhibition at the Katerini Urban School from October 18 to October 24, 2026. The event is organized in collaboration with the Deputy Directorate of Education, Culture & Tourism of the Municipality of Katerini.

The exhibition features works that balance realism with free expression, focusing on portraiture, childhood figures, umbrellas, and still lifes. Stathakopoulos, a contemporary Greek artist originally from Katerini, utilizes color and light to explore human emotion, memory, and the beauty of everyday moments.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, at 19:00. During the exhibition period, the school will be open to visitors from 10:30–13:30 and 18:30–21:00.
