Athens and Limassol traffic accidents cause injuries

A law professor driving a car into a garage elevator shaft in the Kolonaki district of Athens slipped past a safety gate, fell into the shaft and was lightly injured. Firefighters rescued him and he was taken to the Red Cross Hospital for precautionary treatment. The incident caused damage to the underground garage.

In Limassol, Cyprus, a vehicle entered the opposite lane on the Kolonaki Avenue, colliding with another car. The crash was captured on video and resulted in injuries to the drivers. Emergency services responded to the scene.

Both accidents occurred on 17 July and involved drivers sustaining minor injuries, prompting local emergency responses in Greece and Cyprus.
