Athens Broadway Theatre to host Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile

Tagari Theatrical Enterprises will present Agatha Christie’s ‘Murder on the Nile’ at the newly reimagined Athens Broadway Theatre, starting December 4, 2026. The production marks the reopening of the historic Broadway cinema at Stoa Lali as a high-specification modern theatrical venue, one of the largest in Athens.

Directed by Konstantinos Markoulakis and translated by Antoni Galeos, the play features Ieroklis Michailidis in the iconic role of Hercule Poirot. The cast also includes Elisavet Moutafi, Maximos Moumouris, Anastasia Pantousi, Katerina Misichroni, Renos Rotas, Menelaos Hazarakis, Vangelis Daousis, Christina Dendrinou, Inio Pikioni, and Antonis Kafetzopoulos as Septimus Troy.

Set in Egypt, the 1937 mystery follows a luxury cruise on the Nile filled with secrets, jealousy, and betrayal.
