According to investigations, four unidentified individuals in a vehicle opened fire toward the establishment's facade, discharging approximately 25 shots from a Kalashnikov rifle. The vehicle used in the attack had been reported stolen from the Vrilissia area the previous day. Following the shooting, the perpetrators fled, and the vehicle was later discovered burned in the Aspropyrgos area, where police recovered the Kalashnikov used in the assault.

Greek authorities are investigating several motives, including the possibility that the attack was a targeted strike against the owner, Denis Luli, who has a prior criminal record. Police are also examining whether the incident stems from a conflict between organized crime groups, specifically looking into potential links to Klodian Lekocaj, a known figure in the criminal underworld.
