Athens Flying Week 2026 opens at Tánagra Air Base

The Athens Flying Week 2026 has opened at the Tánagra Air Base, marking its 14th year as one of Southeast Europe’s most significant aviation events. The program features a variety of aerial displays, including fighter jets, helicopters, aerobatic teams, and paratroopers.

This year’s event includes several notable international participants. The United Arab Emirates is participating for the first time with new aircraft and distinctive liveries. Additionally, Finland and Spain are making their debut appearances on Greek soil. Other participating nations include Germany, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and Canada, the latter of which will provide parachute demonstrations.

In addition to the flight demonstrations, visitors can explore a large static exhibition to view the aircraft and equipment up close. The Greek Armed Forces, including the Hellenic Air Force, are also actively participating in the scheduled program.
