Athens hosts major musical and comedy theatrical productions

Several major theatrical productions are scheduled to perform in Athens. The State Theatre of Northern Greece (KThBE) is bringing its musical production ‘This Night Remains’ to the Maria Callas Municipal Music Theatre in September. Directed by Asterios Peltakis and based on the novel by Thanos Alexandris, the show explores the atmosphere of Greek nightlife during the 1980s and 1990s. The premiere on September 19 will feature guest appearances by singer Katerina Stanishi and journalist Giorgos Kouvaras.

Additionally, the comedy ‘Everything Goes Wrong!’ is returning to the Athina Theatre this winter. Directed by Themistis Marsellou, the play is an international success that has been performed in London and on Broadway. The production features an ensemble cast including Haris Asimakopoulos and Giannis Vasilottos, focusing on a series of unpredictable and comedic mishaps.
