Athens hosts metal concert featuring Sacred Reich and Acid Reign

A heavy metal concert featuring Sacred Reich, Acid Reign, and The Troops of Doom took place at Gagarin 205 in Athens on August 30, 2026.

The event opened with the Brazilian band The Troops of Doom, described as an unofficial supergroup featuring Jairo Guedz (formerly of Sepultura) and Frank Blackfire (formerly of Sodom and Kreator). The group performed old-school death/thrash music, marking their first appearance in Greece.

Following them, the veteran band Acid Reign performed songs from their new album, ‘Daze of the Week’, during their first tour in the country.
