Athens Hotels Record Strong ADR and RevPAR Growth in H1 2026

Hotels in Athens and Attica posted the strongest performance among major European city destinations in the first half of 2026. Average daily rates (ADR) rose 6.9% year‑on‑year and revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased 6.8% year‑on‑year, outpacing cities such as London, Berlin, Rome, Amsterdam and Istanbul. Occupancy remained virtually unchanged, slipping only 0.1% from the same period in 2025 and rising 1.1% compared with 2024.

The figures were released by the Athens‑Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association, based on data from CoStar in collaboration with GBR Consulting. Association president Evgenios Vassilikos said the results confirm the resilience and continued attractiveness of Athens as a quality urban destination, even as hotel supply expands through new investments, renovations and short‑term rentals.
