Athens inaugurates Greece’s first Social Hearing Center

The Municipality of Athens has inaugurated Greece’s first Social Hearing and Hearing Aid Center. Developed in collaboration with Galiotos earcare, the facility aims to support residents facing hearing difficulties.

Located at the 6th Multipurpose Municipal Clinic in Kypseli, the center provides free access to specialized services, including hearing assessments, consultations, and hearing aid rehabilitation for individuals who meet specific social and economic criteria. Services offered include information and counseling, audiological testing by ENT doctors, and the evaluation of hearing rehabilitation needs.
