Athens Metro Line 3 stations close early for works, service altered

From Monday 15 June through Thursday 18 June, five stations on Athens Metro Line 3 – Panormou, Katechaki, National Defence, Holargos and Mint – will stop service at 21:40, two‑and‑a‑half hours before the scheduled end of operations. The early closures are part of technical works on the Panormou‑Mint section.

Passengers travelling after 21:40 can use a temporary bus service, line X20, running between Ambelokipi and Halandrion, with stops at the affected stations. OASA notes that the last trains before each closure will depart from the listed stations between 20:55 and 21:36, and that services to and from the airport will be adjusted accordingly.

OASA stresses the disruptions are necessary to complete the works, which are expected to improve daily commuting once finished.
