Athens to host Cardiology Days 2026 conference

The Panhellenic Conference ‘Cardiology Days: Latest Developments’ is scheduled to take place in Athens from September 18–20, 2026, at the Divani Caravel hotel. Organized by the Association for the Study of Cardiovascular Diseases in collaboration with the Cardiology Department of Evangelismos General Hospital, the event is held under the auspices of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Hellenic Cardiological Society.

The conference will focus on modern technological and therapeutic advancements in cardiovascular medicine. A central theme is the increasing role of artificial intelligence and digital health, specifically regarding its applications in cardiovascular imaging, diagnostic assistance, and the monitoring of patients with heart failure.

Additionally, the program will address developments in genetic diagnosis and precision medicine for treating cardiomyopathies. Discussions will also cover new pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for heart failure, personalized therapy for elderly patients, and management strategies for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac amyloidosis.
