Atheos Motorway traffic diversions for tunnel maintenance

Traffic diversions will be implemented on the A. Th. E. motorway between Agios Konstantinos (Longou) and Kamena Vourla to facilitate annual maintenance of electromechanical equipment in local tunnels.

From Tuesday, September 29, to Thursday, October 1, 2026, between 07:30 and 19:00, traffic will be diverted from the Agios Konstantinos-Longou interchange to the Western Half-Interchange of Kamena Vourla for drivers heading toward Lamia. Drivers will use the Agios Konstantinos–Kamena Vourla Regional Road.

From Tuesday, October 6, to Thursday, October 8, 2026, between 07:30 and 19:00, diversions will affect the lane heading toward Athens, moving from the Western Half-Interchange of Kamena Vourla to the Agios Konstantinos–Longou interchange via the same regional road.

During these periods, the Traganis toll station will operate with reduced tolls. NEA ODOS has stated that all necessary safety measures and temporary signage will be in place to assist drivers.
