Athina Oikonomakou criticizes TikTok toxicity

Greek actress and entrepreneur Athina Oikonomakou has publicly criticized the high level of toxicity found in TikTok comments. In a video posted to the platform, she expressed frustration regarding the prevalence of negative feedback, noting that approximately 80% of comments on the videos she views are negative or nonsensical.

Oikonomakou stated that she only uses TikTok when she finds content to be fun or appropriate for the platform. She challenged users who leave malicious comments, suggesting that such behavior harms the commenters themselves more than the targets. She emphasized that while the comments do not affect her personal life or decisions, she questioned the motivation behind such widespread negativity.
