Athlete Ömer Aslan to represent Turkey at World Championships

Athlete Ömer Aslan has achieved national athlete status and is set to represent Turkey at the World Championships in Croatia. Having practiced athletics since the age of eight, Aslan will compete in a 5-kilometer race on November 3 as part of the Erzurum Spor Lisesi Reşit Karabacak School Team.

Aslan's success is attributed to the training of Elif Eyüp, a former national athlete who has worked to develop young talent in the Aşkale district. Aslan and Eyüp recently visited Aşkale District Governor Said Muhammed Bilgin, who congratulated the athlete on his achievement and wished him success in the upcoming international competition.
