Athletes and experts discuss the requirements for sporting success and youth health
A new monthly panel discussion series titled ‘BEYOND TALENT’ has been launched at the Dinamo Zrinjevac Athletic Club to explore the complexities of professional sports. The inaugural session features Croatian gymnast Tin Srbić and athlete Marino Bloudek, who will discuss the challenges and requirements for achieving elite success beyond innate talent. The initiative, led by Natko Bošnjak, aims to connect the sporting community by addressing topics such as psychology, nutrition, and athlete preparation.
In a related discussion on youth development, physiotherapist Aleksandra Krstić emphasized the critical importance of daily, measured physical activity for children. As screen time increases among younger generations, regular movement is highlighted as essential for muscle development, posture, cognitive abilities, and motor skills. Different forms of activity, such as swimming, dance, or ball sports, are noted for their specific benefits to brain development and overall physical health.
