Athletes compete in Menorca swimming and triathlon events

The Swim in Menorca competition recently concluded with races held between Macarella and Son Xoriguer. In the non-wetsuit category, David Simonet Pons won with a time of 2:15:42, narrowly defeating Chad Schneider by 44 seconds. Alina Batzilla secured the top female position with a time of 2:32:33.

In the wetsuit category, Daniel Gimeno Alabau claimed the overall victory with a time of 2:32:16, finishing 15 seconds ahead of runner-up Jorge Crespo. Delioma González was the top female finisher in this category.

Additionally, the AD Ibiza Half Triathlon club achieved second place in the Balearic Islands mid-distance club championship during the XI Artiem Half Menorca Triathlon in Fornells. The team saw strong individual performances from Guillem Tomeu and Pablo Fernández, while Mar Iban Baker secured second place in the female short-distance category.
