Athletes secure multiple medals at competitions in Bucharest

Athletes achieved notable success at recent sporting competitions held in Bucharest. At the National Masters Outdoor Athletics Championship, Silviu Cadia of CSM Lugoj secured a triple podium finish in the M40 category. Cadia won the national title in shot put and earned two silver medals in discus throw and javelin throw. This performance follows his recovery from an ankle fracture that previously prevented him from competing in international long jump events.

In wrestling, nine Moldovan athletes earned medals at the “Ion Cornianu & Ladislau Simon” International Senior Wrestling Tournament in Bucharest. The results were reported by the National Training Lot Sports Center.
