Athletes secure rowing bronze and lead CCC 2026 trail race

In rowing, the French mixed PR3 coxed four crew, including Laurent Cadot, Grégoire Bireau, Hélène Balzac, Eva David, and Maïwenn Dumont, secured a bronze medal at the World Championships. After a cautious start, the team accelerated significantly after the 1600m mark, overtaking Australian and Italian boats in the final 250 meters to finish behind the United States and Great Britain.

In ultra-trail running, the CCC 2026 race of the UTMB World Series in Courmayeur saw an aggressive start. After approximately two hours of racing, American Hans Troyer held a slim lead at the Bonatti refuge, followed closely by French runners Benjamin Roubiol and Thomas Cardin. At the 21.1 km mark, the three leaders were separated by only 14 seconds.
