Athletes Tsoukala and Konidaris move to Athens for new season
Greek sprinters Dimitra Tsoukala and Spyros Konidaris are moving to Athens to train under coach Christos Katsikas for the upcoming season.
Tsoukala, a leading Greek sprinter in the 100m and 200m and a member of the national 4x100m relay team, is transferring from Thessaloniki. Despite a summer injury, she recently secured a medal in the 4x100m at the Mediterranean Games.
Konidaris, a 19-year-old 400m athlete, joins the group from Lefkada. Having achieved a personal record of 46.94 seconds this year, his goals include competing in the European U20 Championships and securing a spot on the 4x400m relay team for the European Team Championships. The group will also include 19-year-old Giannis Agnanangme Bandembe.
