Athletic Bilbao held to scoreless draw by Alavés in Basque derby

Athletic Bilbao and Deportivo Alavés played to a 0-0 draw in a Basque derby held at San Mamés during the seventh round of La Liga. Despite heavy dominance from the home side, they were unable to secure a victory.
