West Ham United signs Adama Boiro from Athletic Club

West Ham United has completed the signing of left-back Adama Boiro from Athletic Club. The 24-year-old Senegalese defender joins the London club on a loan deal until the end of the current season, which includes an option to purchase. The agreement also stipulates that a fixed fee will be paid to Athletic Club.

Boiro, who was trained at Osasuna before joining Athletic, has made 45 official appearances for the Basque side. He arrives in England to bolster the West Ham squad as they compete in the Championship, aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League. Boiro noted that while the move was unexpected, he is eager to play at the London Stadium.
