Athletic Club signs goalkeeper Darlington Osuchukwu from Manchester United

Athletic Club announced the signing of 17‑year‑old goalkeeper Darlington Osuchukwu, a player of Nigerian descent born in Murcia who grew up in Antsoain and trained at the Gazte Berriak academy. He previously developed in Manchester United’s youth system and has represented both England and Spain at under‑17 level.

Osuchukwu announced via his social media that he has signed a contract with Athletic until 2029 and will join the club’s Lezama training centre. He expressed pride in joining a team with a "rich tradition and values" and was welcomed by senior players at the club.
