Athletic Club stars join preseason training under Edin Terzic

World champions Unai Simón, Aymeric Laporte, and Nico Williams have completed their first training session under coach Edin Terzic at Lezama. Despite having one month less preparation than the rest of the squad, the trio participated in activation exercises and continuous running at the same pace as their teammates.

During the session, Unai Simón performed specific goalkeeper drills alongside Álex Padilla and Mikel Santos, while Laporte and Nico Williams worked with outfield players on ball exercises.

In terms of squad availability, Beñat Prados is training normally following a minor knee scare, but Dani Vivian remains sidelined due to an adductor injury. Vivian is not expected to be ready for the upcoming preseason friendly against Atalanta in Bergamo.
