Athletic Club supporter group celebrates 50 years in Ciudad Real

The Peña Athletic Club de Bilbao in Ciudad Real is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of supporting the Basque football club within the city. The celebrations included an institutional ceremony at the Antiguo Casino attended by local authorities, including Mayor Francisco Cañizares, and members of various regional supporter groups.

To commemorate the milestone, approximately eighty members participated in a historic parade through Ciudad Real, visiting landmarks such as the Puerta de Toledo, the Plaza Mayor, and the statue of Dulcinea. The group displayed flags featuring a special 50th-anniversary logo designed by Álex Serrano.

President Miguel Ángel Espadas highlighted the group's deep integration into the local community, noting their active participation in various city traditions and festivals. The club maintains a philosophy of supporting local identity while traveling to San Mamés to support Athletic Club.
