Athletic Club women's squad updates and Kern Pharma cycling exit

Athletic Club president Jon Uriarte has detailed the squad composition for the Athletic Club women's football team. The roster relies on players returning from loans, such as Amaia Martínez and Eunate Astralaga, alongside academy graduates Elene Gurtubay and Nerea Benito. Uriarte noted the squad is notably young, with no players over the age of 30. This restructuring follows the departures of key players Nerea Nevado and Maite Zubieta to Milan and Atlético de Madrid, respectively.

In professional cycling, the Kern Pharma team is set to conclude its sponsorship and history by competing in the Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia. Despite the decision to withdraw sponsorship due to new management, the team is experiencing a successful season with six victories. Following this event, team manager Juanjo Oroz continues to seek financial support to maintain the cycling project as either a Pro Team or a Continental formation.
