Athletic results: Ohio University swim split and high school team successes

Various regional and collegiate athletic programs reported recent competition results. At the collegiate level, the Ohio University swim and dive team opened its 2026-27 season with a tri-meet in Coral Gables, Florida. The Bobcats defeated North Florida with a score of 221-72 but lost to Miami with a score of 193-106. Notable performances included Zita Szoke taking first place in the 50 free and Juliette Daigneault placing second in the 100 free.

In high school athletics, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Raiders swim and dive teams swept dual meets against Flanagan and West Boca, moving the girls' team to a 9-4 record and the boys' team to 12-1. Additionally, the Raiders' cross country teams saw success at Markham Park, with the boys' team securing a second-place finish led by Robby Bauman and the girls' team defeating Cardinal Gibbons with a team score of 17.
