Athletic running events scheduled across Abruzzo and Puglia

Various running and athletic events are scheduled across the Italian regions of Abruzzo and Puglia for the weekend of October 17-18.

In Abruzzo, the Corrilabruzzo UISP circuit features the second edition of the Notturna di Pianella on Saturday, October 17. This event includes a 7.5-kilometer competitive race and a 3-kilometer non-competitive run in memory of Luciano Di Marco. On Sunday, October 18, Pescara will host the Race for the Cure, organized by Komen Italia. The event includes a 4.9-kilometer run and a 2-kilometer walk to support breast cancer research and prevention.

In Puglia, the weekend includes the regional final of the Master Track in Molfetta on Saturday, October 17, which serves as the conclusion to the Master Track 2026 circuit. Sunday, October 18, features several road races, including the sixth edition of the VI Valle d’Itria Leonardo Trulli Race in Locorotondo, as well as provincial circuit races in Grottaglie, Castellana Grotte, and Mesagne.
