Athletics and running events held across Italy

Various running and athletics events are taking place across Italy. In Careggine, Alessio Terrasi secured his fourth consecutive victory during the 23rd edition of the Corri nel Comune di Careggine, a stage of the Corrilunigiana.

In Tuscany, the 13th edition of La Corsa dei 100 in Porcari marks the resumption of the Criterium Podistico Toscano following the summer break. Additionally, at the European Championships in Birmingham, athletes Idea Pieroni in high jump and Matteo Oliveri in pole vault both achieved 13th-place finishes.

In Sicily, the Randello Cross celebrates its tenth anniversary in Punta Braccetto. Organized by ASD No al Doping Ragusa, the event features a 10 km race combining cross-country and trail elements through the Randello Forest Reserve, alongside a non-competitive walk trail.
