Athlos women’s athletics meet debuts in London

The ATHLOS professional women’s-only athletics meet made its debut in London at StoneX Stadium on September 18, 2026. This event marked the first time the series was held outside of the United States.

In the 400m, Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic secured victory with a meet record time of 48.73 seconds, overcoming a late deficit to defeat Henriette Jæger. Jæger’s performance of 48.78 set a Norwegian national record and was the fastest European time in the event since 1996.

British athlete Keely Hodgkinson won the 800m, setting a new meet record of 1:56.40. Other notable winners included American sprinters Gabby Thomas and Sha’Carri Richardson. The event featured a $2.1 million prize pool and was designed as a condensed, high-profile competition to increase visibility for women’s track and field.
