AMD and ATI Inc. executives execute stock sales amid earnings reports

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reported record quarterly revenue of $11.5 billion, a 50% increase year-over-year, driven by doubling data center revenue to $6.7 billion. Despite beating analyst expectations for both revenue and net income, the company's stock fell more than 8% following comments from SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who stated his company would build exclusively on NVIDIA architecture. AMD CEO Lisa Su, who sold 15,000 shares in a pre-arranged trading plan on August 18, has maintained a positive outlook, raising long-term semiconductor market forecasts.

Separately, ATI Inc. CEO Kimberly Fields sold 24,845 shares of the company's stock on August 17 at an average price of $231.19, totaling approximately $5.74 million. This transaction reduced her direct ownership by nearly 20%. The sale occurred following a quarterly earnings report where ATI exceeded expectations, reporting $1.23 earnings per share on $1.26 billion in revenue.
