Atibaia Launches New Ecological Playgrounds and Sanitary Transport Service

The municipality of Atibaia completed the installation of new ecological playgrounds in three neighborhoods—Parque dos Coqueiros (in front of the municipal forum), Complexo Santa Clara, and Alvinópolis. The equipment combines sustainable wood, PVC parts and reinforced metal tubes, offering durability, weather resistance, and a safety design that removes hazardous edges.

At the same time, the Atibaia municipal health department began offering a sanitary transportation service for SUS patients who need to attend medical appointments, exams or treatments in other cities. The service requires a confirmed appointment, residency in Atibaia and proper documentation, and operates on a scheduled, collective basis from Monday to Friday.
