Atibaia revitalizes road signaling on Avenida Major Alvim

The City of Atibaia has completed a revitalization of road signaling on Avenida Major Alvim to enhance pedestrian safety. The project, managed by the Secretariat of Mobility and Urban Planning, involved repainting more than ten crosswalks across five strategic blocks.

The work focused heavily on the area surrounding the Escola Municipal Professora Maria José Maia de Toledo to protect students and residents during peak school hours. In addition to crosswalks, the intervention included updated horizontal signaling for warnings and mandatory stop signs. The task force plans to continue work toward the Cristo Rei Church to complete the corridor's revitalization.
